Clack, the funny thing is that I believe that. Imagine the BS poured out by espn and fox sports actually having an effect on the other gms. That's good stuff.

According to the HC, both the Rangers and Orioles sent scouts to watch the Astros Saturday night. Presumably both teams were watching Lidge, among others, and Lidge looked good in the game.

that whole "talks were broken off" thing did seem kind of sudden. it seems as if they have been talking for too long for it to abruptly end like that.

The Astros should be looking to next year in any deals they make. I can't see much hope for them this season.
